A portrait drawn by an artisan for a wealthy maiden. Her knight in shining armor wrote her a love note on the back. It kept her hopes high while he went away to war. He returned to find she had kept it near her heart for 4 years before they were reuninted. A single tear splatter marks the page over his right shoulder.
